From the

Teacher's Desk

We appreciate the parents who volunteered to help chaperone our field trip to the Cleveland Zoo on Thursday, May 22.  We have a limited amount of space on the bus because we have to seat 50 children so we are asking you to drive and follow the bus. Hopefully we can arrange to carpool.

I will send home a "rhyming bag" for show and tell on Thursday. Your child will have to give a word that rhymes with whatever is in his bag (Example: It rhymes with "man" if the bag contains a fan.)  We'll try to guess what's in the rhyming bag.

Snacks next week will be provided by Victoria and Abigail. Thank you!

This is the final week for the Sentence Dictation homework paper because the reading test is coming up next week. It will be due on Friday. The dictation sentences are:

We will get in the van.                                    You can cut it out.

Don't forget our Kindergarten Graduation program on Thursday, May 29, at 1:30 in the gym.

We will complete our End of the Year Math Assessment this week and the Reading Assessment next week.

Thanks to every parent who volunteered to help with our End of the Year Celebration at Chestnut Ridge Park on Monday, June 2. We still need one or two more drivers! Please save the date and I'll let you know more in a week or two. We'll have a great time!
