Teacher's Desk

     We will have our Report Card Pick-up this Tuesday, April 1, and Wednesday, April 2, from 2:30-4:30.  IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT ON EITHER DATE I WILL SEND THE REPORT CARDS HOME ON THURSDAY.

     Thanks so much for your assistance with the Homework Sentences from last week! The children have a new set of sentences to practice with you this week. This homework will be due on Thursday. Please remember to have them write what you say on lines 1 and 3 of the homework paper. Then have them copy the sentences correctly on lines 2 and 4. Remind them to sound out words, leave finger spaces between words, use capital letters for the first word and end the sentence with a punctuation mark.

     This week's sentences are:

                          Mom has a green fan.                        Is the ball white?     

We will continue the homework Dictation Sentences after spring break, which begins this Friday. The children will return to school on Monday, April 14.

     There will be NO Show and Tell this week.

     I'm sending home a new Snack Calendar which begins Monday, April 14. We have almost no snacks left from the previous snacks you sent in for January and early February. These students will provide snacks the week of April 14: Kevin, Lamont, Daryl, Jaelyn and Moira. Thank you!

     This is the last week I can accept the March Pizza Hut calendars for a free personal pan pizza. March was the last month for this program.
