From the

Teacher's Desk

For Show and Tell this week, bring something beginning with letter J on Thursday. A homework paper will come home on Thursday and be due on Friday.

Spring pictures will be taken this Friday, March 14.

Hard to believe but the third grading period is coming to a close soon. I'll begin checking addresses, phone numbers, counting (to at least 75 by ones, fives and tens), letter identification, sound recognition and sight words. Please review these at home.

You may have heard your child talking about a leprechaun visiting our classroom last week. I think he may cause a lot of mischief  this week also!

Thanks for working with your child every night on those take-home books. We're really impressed with the improvement in their reading skills!

We'll be going on a Leprechaun Hunt on Friday afternoon and could use several parent helpers to "fix up" the room while we are gone. Let Ms. Massaro know if you could help us out.

Thank you to Isabella's family for the birthday cupcakes!
