Teacher's Desk

     It will be a busy, but short week! The children will have a three day weekend--Friday is a Teacher Workday. Homework will be sent home Wednesday night and is due on Thursday. We will have TEDDY BEAR DAY on Thursday--please send a bear with your child to share all the fun! The bear will be their Show and Tell this week.

     Snacks this week will be provided by Kevin, Jaelyn, Lamont and Daryl. Thank you! These children are on the calendar to provide next week's snacks: Moira, Courtney, Justin and Steven.

     We are working on our mid-year Reading Test this week and next. I'll let you know the results at our next Report Card Pick-up.

     I'll continue to check report card skills this week. In addition to knowledge of letters, sounds, words and numbers the children must be able to count to at least 50 and know their address AND phone number to be on the Honor Roll or Merit Roll. Our next report card pick-up will be February 2.
