Teacher's Desk

     Welcome back! We're going to have a great New Year! We only have about one week left in the second grading period. I'll begin checking skills for report cards next week so please review addresses, phone numbers, counting to at least 50, and words, letters and sounds on the word ring. Practicing the sentences that come home every Friday should help them improve in time for the second report card.

      I didn't get the new snack calendar out last week so it's enclosed this week. Next week's snacks will be provided by Kevin, Lamont, Daryl and Jaelyn. Thank you! We ate most of our snacks before Christmas vacation, so please try to send in something on the day your child is scheduled.

     I've enclosed a Pizza Hut reading calendar for January. You can send in December Pizza Hut calendars (or a note) any day this week.

     Children may bring a favorite Christmas gift for Show and Tell on Thursday. Homework this week will be a handwriting paper sent home on Thursday evening; it's due on Friday.
