This week's events:

MONDAY :   A note is attached that requests you and your child to think of a Native American name. Book order is included if you'd like to order. I'll be checking report skills (including addresses, phone number, counting to at least 25) all week.

TUESDAY:  Native American Name paper is due back.

THURSDAY:  Show and Tell and  White Day.  Homework paper sent home.

FRIDAY:  Homework paper, Pizza Hut calendars and book orders due.  Harvest Day (Halloween) celebration in the afternoon. Children with notes may go home to change into costumes at 11:10.

NEXT WEEK:  We will have Report Card Pick-up next Wednesday and Thursday, November 7 or 8, from 2:30 till 4:30. There will be a sign-up sheet in the hall when you arrive and I'll call parents in the order you've signed in. I'll explain the Kindergarten report card to you and let you know how your child is doing so far

Didn't you love the haunted houses? We couldn't have done it without help from Isabel's mom, Jazlyn's mom and aunt, Steven's mom, Josie's mom, Dougie's Moey, and Mrs. Calvin. A big thank you also goes out to Ms. Hatherill's dad and uncle for donating and cutting the wooden pieces!

We'll have our Harvest Day celebration this Friday, November 2. If you haven't already done so please send in the paper to let us know if your child will be going home at lunch to change into their costume or staying at school. Also, don't forget the $1.00 donation to help PTA with the candy purchase.

We will be using our "leftover" snacks until they run out.

This is the last week I can accept Pizza Hut calendars for October (or a note saying your child read for 120 minutes for the month). I will be sending home a new Pizza Hut calendar for November. Color in the boxes on the dates your child reads and I'll give him/her a coupon for a free personal pan pizza. Congratulations to Isabel for being the first student to return October's calendar!
